To mandate government-authorized inspections of all domestic septic tank systems every 10 years, and establish a comprehensive statewide regulatory regime for septic tanks. This bill amends the state’s environmental protection law, and gives officials three years to develop and impose rules to accomplish this. See also House Bill 5752.
