To amend the state's very detailed and prescriptive liquor control code to impose sample size limits on wine tastings. For wines with an alcohol content of 8.5 percent or more samples could not exceed 5 ounces, and for less potent varieties the cap would be 16 ounces of wine. Different size limits (3 ounces) that are already imposed on certain winemaker tastings held in a liquor store would remain in effect.
