To repeal a provision of a <a href=" https://www.michiganvotes.org/2007-HB-4800">2007 pension reform law</a> that prohibited a state employee from “retiring,” and then returning to work for the state and collecting both a pension and payroll check at the same time. The bill would repeal a ban on doing this through a contractual arrangement with a third party.
