To clarify which areas of an airport are deemed “sterile areas” for purposes of not being allowed to carry a gun or other weapon. The definition would be an area “that provides passengers access to boarding aircraft and …. (is) generally is controlled by” the federal TSA or by the airline “through the screening of persons and property”.
