To assign the Michigan State Housing Development Authority the duty of determining which home purchases and improvements would be eligible for the $5,000 income tax credit proposed by House Bill 4813, which would go to a person who purchases a residence with accessibility features that make it more “visitable,” or retrofits a residence in this way.
