Ban cutting oaks in the spring

To prohibit pruning, cutting, or wounding of oak trees between April 15 and July 15, which is intended to prevent the spread of oak wilt. The bill would also require the Department of Natural Resources to establish best stewardship practices for the proper management of oak trees and the control and eradication of oak wilt.
