To repeal a 2004 law that prohibits a court from releasing a person arrested for nonpayment of child support unless the person posts a cash performance bond of at least $500, or 25% of the child support arrearage, whichever is greater. This is part of a bail reform package comprised of House Bills 4351 to 4360.
