2019 Senate Bill 511

Let small counties make officer elections nonpartisan

Introduced in the Senate

Sept. 12, 2019

Introduced by Sen. Ed McBroom (R-38)

To allow small counties (fewer than 75,000 residents) to permit nonpartisan elections for the office of county commissioner. This means voters would no longer see on ballots which party a candidate affiliates with.
