To triple the number of marijuana plants a licensed grower may grow depending on the license type (“class” A, B or C), with the new caps set at 4,500, 3,000 and 6,000, no more than one third of which may be "flowering." Note: Because the law authorizing this part of Michigan’s legal marijuana regulatory regime was authorized by a vote of the people on initiated legislation, a three-quarter majority of the both the House and Senate is required to make any changes.
