To prohibit mobile home parks from banning window air conditioners, or in other ways “preventing a resident from maintaining, by means of heating or cooling equipment…the ambient temperature in the resident's mobile home at levels adequate to protect the safety and health” of residents. This is part of a legislative package comprised of House Bills 5562 to 5569 that among other things would impose rent controls on mobile home park owners.
