To mandate that the operator of a commercial “call center” located in this state but planning to relocate to another country must notify state regulators at least 30 days before moving, and require the state Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity to create a registry of employers who left. House Bill 5626 would make companies on the list ineligible for state taxpayer-funded corporate subsidy programs.
