To require local police agencies to include more race and identity information in the monthly uniform crime reports they are required to submit to the state. This would include the racial, ethnic, and gender demographic data of individuals involved in police stops, police shooting incidents, and incidents involving the use of force by officers. The reports would have to include the badge number of each officer involved in each instance, the racial demographics of the officers, and more. These would be published online by the Michigan State Police.
