To establish a new comprehensive regulatory regime on radiation machines used for medical diagnostic and treatment purposes, along with the facilities and professionals who operate them, including detailed training, licensure and registrations requirements, equipment standards and much more. The bill revises and overhauls many existing regulations to incorporate in a new section of law, called “Radiation Machine Control”.
