Introduced

To mandate that most hospitals that treat at least 50 drug overdose cases a year offer a “medication-assisted alcohol or opioid use disorder treatment,” and authorize state grants to pay for it. The bill would also authorize state officials to order a hospital with fewer cases to provide this treatment, although a hospital could file forms allowing it to not provide this.
