To require the state health and welfare department to routinely collect and review big winnings data from regulators of legal gambling including the state lottery, plus review vital records, residency, unemployment insurance benefit and wage data and more to determine whether beneficiaries were and still are eligible for food stamps. The department would also have to post on its website data on noncompliance and fraud investigations that indicate without disclosing names the number and disposition of public assistance cases investigated for fraud.
