To revise some definitions in Michigan’s extraordinarily prescriptive and detailed liquor control and licensure law in a manner that,in combination with related bills, is said to permit some direct-to-retailer wine and "mixed spirit drink" sales. However, with other bills in the package proposal appears to contain so many restrictions and conditions on this it is not clear that it wouldn't do the opposite.
Referred to the Committee on Regulatory Reform
Reported without amendment
With the recommendation that the substitute (S-1) be adopted and that the bill then pass.
