2021 Senate Bill 625

Authorize income tax checkoff for particular nonprofit

Introduced in the Senate

Sept. 1, 2021

Introduced by Sen. Kim LaSata (R-21)

To allow an individual to designate on his or her annual state income tax return that a contribution of $5 or more of his or her refund be credited to the Michigan Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Monument Fund. The bill would cancel the same privilege granted to several other nonprofit organizations, presumably because they are little used or obsolete.
