To repeal a section of law that repealed caps on the number of charter schools in the state, prohibits charter school authorizers from issueing a charter for a school “that will operate as the successor to a public school academy, and adds other new charter school restrictions and requirements. The bill does not itself re-authorize the previous caps on the number of charter schools.
