To set up a state “metallic mineral mine reclamation fund” with money earmarked from federal grants, from which money could be spent by state regulators for “acquisition and filling of voids and sealing of tunnels, shafts, and entryways of lands affected by past mining practices; reclaiming land and water resources adversely affected by past mining and remediation,” and more.
