To expand and specify the expenses that an auto insurer must cover under revised Personal Injury Protection provisions in a the 2019 insurance reform law, which placed limits on the expenses eligible for vehicle crash injury coverage. Among other changes the bill would not require claimants to an insurers own “proof of loss” form, and establish that “exact proof of the fact and the amount of loss sustained is not required for proof of loss to be reasonable”.
