Introduced
by
To amend details of the Attorney General’s authority under the Michigan Consumer Protection Act, so as to conform to the proposal in House Bill 1023. That bill would require the “online marketplaces” require “high-volume third-party sellers” to disclose the seller's full name, full physical address, a working phone number and email address, whether the seller makes, imports or resells consumer products and more. The bills appear targeted at larger merchants who present themselves as individuals on sites like eBay.
