To adopt an “omnibus” budget for all of state government including education spending in the 2022-2023 fiscal year that begins Oct. 1, 2022. The bill proposes spending $74.136 billion from all sources including federal money. Appropriations of proposed spending by the state is in this bill, and Senate Bill 924 proposes spending by public schools, state universities and community colleges.
