To remove higher education from allowable School Aid Fund uses to place before voters in the next general election a state constitutional amendment that would remove language in the current constitution allowing tax revenue earmarked to the state “School Aid Fund” to be used for higher education. In other words, tax dollars earmarked to this fund could only be spend on K-12 public schools, not on state universities and community colleges.
