A bill to amend 1936 (Ex Sess) PA 1, entitled “Michigan employment security act,” (MCL 421.1 to 421.75) by adding section 10b.
Mandates the unemployment agency to publicly display the current balance of the unemployment compensation fund on its website and update this information monthly. Additionally, it requires the agency to notify the state budget director and the appropriations committees of both the Senate and House of Representatives if the fund's balance drops below $2.5 billion or $500 million.
