A bill to amend 1976 PA 451, entitled “The revised school code,” (MCL 380.1 to 380.1852) by adding section 1164c.
House Bill 4064 would amend the Revised School Code to allow the Michigan Department of Education (MDE) to develop or adopt a model program for cursive instruction. The bill would strongly encourage the department to complete this model program and make a list of model programs available to public schools no later than August 1, 2024.
