A bill to amend 1982 PA 455, entitled “The library privacy act,” (MCL 397.601 to 397.606) by adding section 5a.
Mandates that if a library offers public access to obscene or sexually explicit materials harmful to minors, it must adopt and enforce a policy to keep such materials in a restricted area accessible only to adults aged 18 and over.
