A bill to require certain public officers to file annual financial disclosure reports; to create a financial disclosure form; to prescribe penalties and civil sanctions; and to provide for the powers and duties of certain state and local governmental officers and entities.
Requires certain public officers to submit detailed financial disclosure forms by April 15, 2024, and annually thereafter. These forms must include information on assets, income, liabilities, and positions held outside of state employment. Additionally, the bill mandates reporting on agreements or arrangements regarding future employment, gifts, travel payments, and payments to charity in lieu of honoraria received from lobbyists or lobbyist agents.
