A bill to amend 1967 PA 150, entitled “Michigan military act,” (MCL 32.501 to 32.851) by adding section 203.
Stipulates that the Michigan National Guard and its members cannot be deployed into active duty combat unless the United States Congress has issued an official declaration of war or has explicitly called forth the state militia for specific constitutional purposes.
