A bill to make, supplement, and adjust appropriations for various state departments and agencies for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2023; to provide for certain conditions on appropriations; and to provide for the expenditure of the appropriations.
Supplemental appropriations for various state departments and agencies for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2023. The bill allocates a gross appropriation of $5,000,000 from the state general fund/general purpose, with no additional funding from federal revenues, local revenues, private revenues, or other state restricted revenues. Specifically, the Department of Attorney General is allocated $5,000,000 to hire approximately 25 full-time equated classified positions for a payroll fraud enforcement unit.
