A bill to amend 1980 PA 469, entitled “The whistleblowers’ protection act,” by amending the title and sections 1, 2, 3, and 5 (MCL 15.361, 15.362, 15.363, and 15.365), section 3 as amended by 1982 PA 146, and by adding section 4a.
Proposes revisions to enhance protections for employees who report or are about to report any violations or suspected violations of laws at various government levels. It also seeks to protect those participating in related hearings, investigations, or court actions.
