A bill to amend 1979 PA 94, entitled “The state school aid act of 1979,” (MCL 388.1601 to 388.1896) by adding section 31ff.

This bill would spend $250 million to give school districts that have certain pupil-teacher ratios for K-6 extra money. For a 15:1 ratio, districts would receive an extra $350 per student and for 17:1, they would receive $250 per student.
