A bill to amend 1978 PA 368, entitled “Public health code,” (MCL 333.1101 to 333.25211) by adding section 16279.
Requires that any licensee or registrant providing prenatal, postnatal care, or genetic counseling to an individual must offer written information when a test result or screening indicates a high likelihood or presence of Down syndrome in the individual's fetus or neonate.
