Children: foster care; assessments of education facilities at child care institutions; require.

An act to amend 1994 PA 203, entitled “An act to establish certain standards for foster care and adoption services for children and their families; and to prescribe powers and duties of certain state agencies and departments and adoption facilitators,” (MCL 722.951 to 722.960) by adding section 8e.

Senate Fiscal Agency Analysis

House Bill 4677 (H-1) would amend the Foster Care and Adoption Services Act to require the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), the Department of Education (MDE), and the Center for Educational Performance and Information to provide an annual report to the Legislature that contained information on foster children in the education system.
