A bill to amend 1931 PA 328, entitled “The Michigan penal code,” by amending sections 231 and 237a (MCL 750.231 and 750.237a), as amended by 2017 PA 96; and to repeal acts and parts of acts.

Removes regulations to allow all firearm owners the same rights as those who have obtained a concealed carry permit (CPL). This would allow individuals to carry their legal firearms in areas designated only for CPL holders. Also removes a gun owner's duty to inform law enforcement if they are carrying a firearm.
