A bill to amend 1936 (Ex Sess) PA 1, entitled “Michigan employment security act,” (MCL 421.1 to 421.75) by adding section 68.
Requires the unemployment agency to develop and annually update an immobilization and demobilization plan within 180 days of the act's effective date. This plan is designed to manage surges in unemployment benefit claims and must include activation criteria, recovery phases, strategies to mitigate service disruptions, and identify essential functions and resources of the unemployment agency.
