A bill to amend 1972 PA 230, entitled “Stille-DeRossett-Hale single state construction code act,” (MCL 125.1501 to 125.1531) by adding section 4i.
Prohibits the installation of 4G or 5G main transmission antennas, related equipment larger than 6 cubic feet, and any antenna supporting 4G or 5G transmission within 1,500 feet of new fire stations, including their rooftops or adjacent structures. However, the installation or placement of small internet routers is not prohibited unless they weigh 15 pounds or more or are used solely to provide 4G or 5G service.
