A bill to amend 2013 PA 240, entitled “Michigan state capitol historic site act,” by amending section 5 (MCL 4.1945).
Establishes the Michigan State Capitol Commission, which will consist of members including the Secretary of the Senate, the Clerk of the House of Representatives, one individual appointed by the Senate minority leader, one appointed by the House minority leader, and two individuals appointed by the Governor, with at least one having expertise in historic preservation.
