A bill to amend 1998 PA 58, entitled “Michigan liquor control code of 1998,” (MCL 436.1101 to 436.2303) by adding section 516.
Allows the commission to issue licenses for the sale of alcoholic liquor for on-premises consumption to nonprofit veterans' organizations, regardless of existing quota provisions. These organizations can be either incorporated or unincorporated and must be a branch, chapter of a national organization, or chartered by the United States Congress.
