A bill to amend 1939 PA 280, entitled “The social welfare act,” (MCL 400.1 to 400.119b) by adding section 109o.
Mandates the department to collaborate with contracted health plans and specialty prepaid health plans to submit an annual report by March 1st each year. The report is to be presented to the legislature, the state's behavioral health advisory council, the state's medical care advisory council, and the state's disabilities council. It will include comparative analyses and information regarding the design and application of nonquantitative treatment limitations on mental health or substance use disorder benefits.
