This amendment, aimed at limiting the legislative session, specifies that the legislature shall convene annually on the second Wednesday in January and adjourn at a date determined by concurrent resolution. It further mandates that from 2025 onwards, the legislature is to meet for no more than 90 consecutive days. This proposed amendment is set to be submitted to the voters of Michigan at the next general election.
