A bill to amend 1961 PA 236, entitled “Revised judicature act of 1961,” (MCL 600.101 to 600.9947) by adding section 1429.
This bill mandates that if a court records a public court proceeding, it must make the video recording available for public access. The recording should be unedited, showing the complete public portion of the proceeding, and must be accessible within 10 days after recording for at least 60 days.
