A bill to amend 1978 PA 368, entitled “Public health code,” (MCL 333.1101 to 333.25211) by adding sections 12815, 12817, and 12829.
Establishes a technical advisory committee within the Department of Health for guidance on onsite wastewater treatment systems. This committee, comprising experts and stakeholders, will advise on standards, technologies, inspection criteria, and education for inspectors.
