Mackinac Center Analysis

This will would create the "Insurance Policyholder Bill of Rights." It would create a host of new requirements of insurers, except for health insurers, including equal consideration to policyholders' interests, prompt claim handling, objective claim investigation and evaluation, and clear communication. It would make it easier for people to win lawsuits against insurance companies.
