A bill to amend 1967 PA 281, entitled “Income tax act of 1967,” by amending section 695 (MCL 206.695), as amended by 2023 PA 4.
To rename a program that hands out taxpayer money to select businesses from the Strategic Outreach and Attraction Reserve fund to the Make it in Michigan fund. The bill would also recognize provisions of another economic development proposal to spend 50% of the money put into the fund on local government and nonprofit group projects in areas that receive business subsidies.
