A bill to amend 1978 PA 368, entitled “Public health code,” by amending section 18223 (MCL 333.18223), as amended by 2018 PA 24.
Mandates a doctoral degree in psychology or a related field from an accredited program and at least one year of postdoctoral experience in an organized health care setting for a psychology license. It allows for a limited license for individuals with a master's degree in psychology, given they meet certain conditions, including supervised postgraduate experience.
