A bill to amend 1976 PA 451, entitled “The revised school code,” (MCL 380.1 to 380.1852) by adding section 1170c.
Department of Education must update the health education curriculum to include comprehensive information on human biology and development related to pregnancy by the 2025-26 school year. Specifically, the curriculum must cover an overview of human biology related to pregnancy, human development inside the uterus, and include a high-definition ultrasound video and a high-quality computer-generated animation or rendering that illustrates the process of fertilization and every stage of human development inside the uterus until birth.
