A bill to amend 1976 PA 451, entitled “The revised school code,” by amending sections 6, 1241, and 1308a (MCL 380.6, 380.1241, and 380.1308a), section 6 as amended by 2016 PA 192, section 1241 as added by 2018 PA 549, and section 1308a as added by 2018 PA 551.
Mandates the designation of liaisons to work with the School Safety Commission and the Office of School Safety, introduces requirements for reporting certain incidents to the Department of State Police, and outlines consequences for non-compliance with these requirements.
