A bill to amend 1996 PA 381, entitled “Brownfield redevelopment financing act,” by amending section 2 (MCL 125.2652), as amended by 2023 PA 90.
This bill would amend the Brownfield Redevelopment Financing Act to exempt property taxes collected for museum authorities from tax increment financing. It is contingent on passage of HBs 4177 (the historical museum authorities act) and HB 5317.
