A bill to amend 1978 PA 368, entitled “Public health code,” by amending sections 16334, 17951, 17957, and 17959 (MCL 333.16334, 333.17951, 333.17957, and 333.17959), sections 16334, 17951, and 17957 as added by 2008 PA 471 and section 17959 as amended by 2016 PA 371, and by adding section 17959a.
The bill amends the Public Health Code to establish a massage therapy apprenticeship program, revises licensure fees, and updates definitions and requirements for massage therapy practice.
