A bill to amend 1988 PA 466, entitled “Animal industry act,” (MCL 287.701 to 287.746) by amending the title, as amended by 2019 PA 132, and by adding section 40c.
The bill amends the Animal Industry Act to prohibit force-feeding birds, imposing civil fines for violations, and updates the act's title to include standards of care for animals.
